For Libraries and Educators

Glagoslav Publications publishes literature from the Slavic world and beyond in English translation: national classics, contemporary fiction, poetry, drama, history and memoir, with a smaller list in Dutch. Many of these books have no other English edition, which makes them useful to collections and courses in Slavic, Central and East European studies and comparative literature.

This page explains how libraries, lecturers and teachers can order our books and ask for inspection copies.

Ordering for a library

Every title is available through Ingram, and so through the library suppliers and wholesalers who buy from Ingram, including Gardners in the United Kingdom. Give your supplier the ISBN of the format you want: each book page on this site lists a separate ISBN for the hardcover, the paperback and the e-book.

You can also order directly from our bookshop. Delivery rates and free-delivery thresholds are set out on the How to Order page.

Larger orders

Orders over €299 placed through our bookshop receive 25% off with the code BULK25 at checkout. For a larger order, a standing order or a collection built around one literature, write to contact@glagoslav.com with what you need and we will prepare a quote.

Inspection copies for teaching

If you are considering one of our books for a course, write to contact@glagoslav.com with the title, the course and your institution, and we will send a digital inspection copy. Tell us too if there is a book you would like to teach that is not yet on our list.

Where to start on the list

The complete list, with ISBNs, is in our catalogue, which can be printed or saved as a PDF. The author index lists every writer we publish.

Reviews

Selectors who work from reviews will find the published reviews of each title, with their sources, on the book’s own page under “Endorsements and Review Quotes”. Our books have been reviewed in the Los Angeles Review of Books, World Literature Today, the Dublin Review of Books, the Historical Novels Review and in journals including East/West: Journal of Ukrainian Studies and Slovo.
